Pre Wedding in Venice
This engagement and pre weding photo service in Venice has a special meaning for us and we are proud to share it on our blog. We met Martina and Jonathan, the protagonists of this shooting, more than a year ago, when they entrusted us with the task of carrying out their wedding photo shoot, which will be held in the spring of 2018.
The trust and the esteem that these adorable boys have placed in us since the beginning have stimulated us to give our best also in these pre-wedding photos, waiting to shoot their wedding next year.
They could not choose a better location than Venice: an extremely romantic city, full of history and decadent elegance, the perfect setting for a loving couple.
For the first part of the service we were hosted by the Liassidi Hotel Palace, a fine Venetian-style hotel just a short walk from San Marco Square. The guys got ready in two separate rooms, then met in the main salon of the hotel. The light that filtered from the windows framed their first look, creating some evocative effects that we exploited for our photos.
After this touching moment, we continued the photo session outdoor, following them through a fun walk for the Venetian “calli”. We could not miss a visit to the “Libreria Acqua Alta”, a picturesque bookshop that, in our opinion, encloses the true essence of a chaotic but definitely fascinating city.
We chased the warm sunset light through the ancient walls and under the arcades of San Marco Square, surrounded by tourists, curious cats and gondoliers who sang the most famous Italian songs.
The warm sunset light illuminated the last shots of the day in the wonderful Piazza San Marco, from which you can enjoy an amazing view on the lagoon.
