Wedding in Villa Vistarenni – Siena
We are always very happy when we have the opportunity to work in Tuscany, one of the destinations we prefer for our wedding photography services; so, when Franchesca and Tim contacted us for their marriage at Villa Vistarenni, an elegant manor near Siena where we had been in the past (see the gallery), we couldn’t wait to finally get back in one of the most beautiful locations in Chianti.
Knowing that the marriage was co-ordinated by the talented and super-efficient Laura of Tuscan DMC Events, then, was a further guarantee.
Tim and Franchesca opted for a very intimate wedding, with only twenty guests, chosen between the closest relatives and very close friends. They arranged for them a fantastic stay in the Siena countryside, culminating in their simple but emotional wedding, which was held in one of the gardens of the venue.
Franchesca was simply fa-bu-lous in her nude-look lace wedding dress with an incredibly elegant silouhette.
While she was getting ready in one of the suites of the villa, assisted by her mother and her best friend, we took some group photos of Tim and his funny bestmen (who play James Bond better than Daniel Craig, no doubt).
In the early afternoon, everything was ready for the ceremony.
The site for the symbolic rite had been set in the garden in front of the villa’s façade, with a breathtaking view of the hills.
Franchesca’s arrival with her mother was a really touching moment, not only for the spouses but also for their guests, who were visibly moved.
After the promises, the rings exchange and the ritual congratulations, the newlyweds offered their guests a buffet of typical Tuscan specialties.
As the hosts drank the aperitif, we cut out about twenty minutes to complete the couple’s portrait session around the villa.
Every corner of that location is a wonder! We stayed in the little church on top of the park’s hill, in the olive grove, in the cellar and in one of the gardens … so many lovely places!
Franchesca’s light veil, then, gave us fantastic images as the wind moved it to “dance” around her and Tim.
At sunset, everyone moved to the courtyard where the wonderful imperial table set up by Flowersliving and the very good dinner curated by the Asinello’s catering were waiting for them.
The last rays of the sun gave us an incredible light during the romantic first dance of Tim and Franchesca. We literally love those shots!
What can we say … a simply PERFETTO wedding!
